Bharat Business Privacy and Policy
1. Who Is Responsible for Your Data
The application is operated by the Bharat Business development organization (Lina Apps). For any privacy inquiries or compliance requests, contact us at:

Where you (a business owner) create staff accounts and record transactions regarding your customers and suppliers, you act as the sole Data Controller. Bharat Business acts strictly as a secure Data Processor that stores and syncs your records.
2. Information We Collect
We collect strictly the operational data necessary to deliver commercial inventory, distribution, and billing capabilities. We do not collect personal device contacts, call logs, SMS, or web browsing history.

3. Android Device Permissions & Usage
Bharat Business requests only the explicit hardware permissions required to perform commercial business functions:
- 📷 Camera: Used via Google Play Services Code Scanner (ML Kit) for fast on-device barcode and QR scanning during checkout and product registration. Also used for optional staff selfie verification upon attendance check-in. The app never accesses device photo galleries.
- 📍 Foreground Location: Accessed only when a user explicitly taps "Capture Location" to geotag a retailer shop pin on Google Maps for delivery routing, or when staff punch attendance. There is zero background location tracking.
- 🖨️ Bluetooth (SPP): Used exclusively to discover and send ESC/POS print commands to 58mm and 80mm mobile thermal receipt printers.
- 💾 Storage & Documents: Used solely to save generated GST tax invoices (PDF), GSTR-1 JSON exports, and password-protected encrypted database backups.
4. Enterprise Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
Sensitive business metrics, master inventory purchase prices, and company net margins are isolated according to staff tier:
- Owner & General Manager: Full visibility over enterprise catalogs, financial ledgers, and cloud backups.
- Distributor: Godown inventory fulfillment, order approvals, and shift cash handovers.
- Field Salesman: Restricted to catalog pricing and booking counter orders for their assigned beat.
- Delivery Driver: Restricted to delivery dispatch addresses, drop verification, and UPI QR collection.
5. Account Deletion & Right to Erasure
In full adherence to the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act and Google Play Developer Policies, you retain complete sovereignty over your data.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated cloud records at any time directly in the mobile app via Settings → Account → Delete Account, or by emailing an erasure request to hello@linaapps.in. Upon confirmation, all associated cloud database entries are permanently purged within 30 days.
6. Advertising and Analytics
Bharat Business is supported by non-intrusive advertisements. Your private commercial transactions, inventory balances, pricing margins, and customer data are never used for advertising and never sold. Diagnostic crash telemetry is collected strictly in aggregate to resolve software anomalies.
