Who helps us process your data

We use trusted service providers who process data for us under their own security and privacy terms:

  • Supabase: database hosting. Workshop and student data is stored in Mumbai, India; website enquiries are stored in Singapore.
  • Hostinger: website hosting and our email (hello@linaapps.in).
  • Razorpay: workshop payments.
  • Resend: sending workshop and portal emails (confirmations, reminders, login codes).
  • Telegram: instant alerts to the owner's phone with the details of new enquiries, registrations and payments.
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram): ad measurement through the Meta Pixel, only after you accept.
  • Zoom and WhatsApp: live classes and the batch support group, if you join the workshop.
  • YouTube: some class recordings in the student portal play through YouTube's privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com).

Some of these providers store data outside India. We share personal data with the government or courts only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last conversation, unless you become a client.
  • Client project records: for the length of the project and any support plan, then as long as tax and accounting laws require.
  • Workshop registrations and payments: as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require.
  • Student portal accounts: until you delete your account (you can do this yourself) or the portal is closed. Sign-in security records are kept for up to 12 months.
  • Server logs: as set by our hosting provider, usually a few weeks.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you and how it is used
  • correct or update it
  • erase it, unless the law requires us to keep it
  • withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect anything done before you withdrew
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights for you

Email hello@linaapps.in or WhatsApp +91 78933 39960. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We reply as soon as we can and within 90 days at most, as the DPDP Rules require. Workshop students can also delete their portal account from the account deletion page.

If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

Our services are meant for adults. If someone under 18 wants to join the workshop, a parent or guardian must register and pay for them and give consent. If we learn that we have collected a child's data without that consent, we will delete it.

Security and data breaches

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, hashed passwords and private databases that only our servers can read. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you promptly in plain language: what happened, what it could mean for you, what we are doing about it and how to contact us.

Cookies

See our Cookie Policy. You can change your choice any time using Cookie settings.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and show the new date at the top. For major changes affecting your consent, we will tell you directly.
