LINA Learn: registrations, payments, logins and a live admin console, all in one system
We needed a complete system to run our app-building workshop: people sign up, pay online, get emails, log in to a student portal, and we manage everything from one console. So we built it ourselves.
What we built
- Registration website with seat limits
- Online payments through a payment gateway, confirmed automatically
- Automatic emails: confirmation, receipts, class reminders
- Student portal with secure login, one-time codes and device checks
- Class videos and files shared through short-lived secure links
- Admin console that updates in real time as people register and pay
- Instant phone alerts to the owner for every sign-up and payment
Security
Students never touch the database directly. Every request is checked on the server, logins are rate-limited, one-time codes never reach the browser, and files are only shared through links that expire in minutes.
Tested for real traffic
Before launch we load-tested the system for a sudden rush of 1,000 people registering and attending at once.
